The Congolese international is thought to be one of the players that could be cut, and would certainly offer Newcastle some much-needed attacking threat next term if the £16.2 million-rated ace (as per Transfermarkt) makes the move to St James’.
Landlord’s Verdict: Bolasie is expected to be available on a cut-price deal this summer, and Benitez should take a long look at the possibility of bringing him to St James’ Park.
The 29-year-old would potentially feel the void that Kenedy will likely leave, as it becomes increasingly difficult to keep him following his loan spell from Chelsea, and would be a huge threat to Premier League defenders up and down the country.
It was widely thought that the winger was a transfer target for Newcastle in 2015 before he completed a move to Everton from Crystal Palace, and the Magpies should consider making it happen now.
