Plenty of Newcastle United fans are talking about a tweet from Isaac Hayden, which has since been deleted, after Ketch shared it on their official page.
Hayden was reflecting upon a throwback game which he described as what the Tyneside club is all about. He also lauded the atmosphere and flag display and added that he hopes to come back to matches and nights like that one in the future.

Ketch shared the tweet with the caption of the central midfield player letting the prospect of ‘#cans‘ get the better of him, which has been a term used by Magpies to voice their excitement of a potential takeover at St. James’ Park. Nevertheless, whether the post was meant to be a hint to the takeover or not, it still gathered plenty of reaction from members of the Toon faithful.
The 25-year old has made 29 appearances in all competitions for NUFC this season, scoring one goal and providing an assist, according to Transfermarkt.
These Newcastle supporters on Twitter reacted to the Englishman’s post:
This is a shame! Great tweet and shows the players care and take notice of the hard work of fans @IsaacHayden65

Because @worflags only said they’d come back if Ashley left and nothing is confirmed yet so it looks like he believes the takeover is gonna happen.
