Some Newcastle United fans are buzzing at the news that Arturo Vidal said that he would consider joining the Tyneside club if they appoint his former boss Max Allegri as their manager.
According to Mundo Deportivo (via ChronicleLive), the 32-year old is apparently ‘unconvinced’ at the project on offer by Manchester United and will instead consider a move to St. James’ Park if they appoint ex-Juventus coach Allegri.
Indeed, Vidal made 45 appearances under the Italian in all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing four assists, as per Transfermarkt. The Chilean international has enjoyed an illustrious career thus far and members of the Toon faithful would hope that he could help the Magpies pick up a major trophy.
Vidal has an impressive 11 domestic titles under his trophy belt, including four Serie A wins, three Bundesliga’s, one La Liga and he is three-times champion in his native country, according to Transfermarkt.
