Loads of Newcastle United fans are discussing a comment made by Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague as he claims that Rafa Benitez has not heard anything from the potential new owners.
The 51-year old was talking on his YouTube channel (via ChronicleLive) as he discussed the proposed takeover at the Tyneside club. He claimed that there are rumours that have reached agents that there will be money available straight away and he thinks that the Magpies need to find a manager that can lead that.

Balague shared that Benitez has not heard anything from the owners and so he is miles away from the situation. Indeed, the 60-year old has managed clubs who have had cash to spend before, namely Chelsea, Inter Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid to mention a few. Of course, he did manage NUFC as well, coaching in 146 games, where the Toon won 62 of those, as per Transfermarkt.
