Loads of Newcastle United fans are drooling over a takeover claim made by Lee Ryder as he talked about the potential transfer kitty that the Tyneside club may have if the deal goes through.
The journalist (via NUFC 360) does not have a doubt that whoever is in charge in the North East at the start of the new era will get a competitive amount of money to possibly spend on transfers in the upcoming summer window. He claimed that this could potentially be as much as around £200 million.

Having that kind of figure available at St. James’ Park means that the club could try and attract some bigger names through the doors in order for them to be where they want to be, both in terms of their position in the Premier League as well as winning cup competitions.
However, it must be noted that they may not have the pulling power to attract players to the Magpies, as they are likely to be competing with arguably bigger names in the market. In addition, players may not buy into the vision that the prospective new owners may have.
