Loads of Newcastle United fans have drooled over former player Tino Asprilla’s tweet after he shared a video compilation of his highlights reel during his time at the Tyneside club on his official Twitter page.
However, the caption combined with the footage is what really got lots the Toon faithful drooling, as he exclaimed: ‘What’s up with the takeover!’

Indeed, plenty of Magpies are becoming increasingly frustrated over the takeover situation as a deal is still yet to be completed, and it looks as if Asprilla is another name to add to that list.
The 50-year old enjoyed a fine time in the North East, scoring 18 goals and providing three assists in 60 appearances in all competitions across three seasons, according to Transfermarkt.
The ex-Colombian international’s performances and general mannerisms made him a fan favourite at St. James’ Park, and judging by some of the comments, plenty of NUFC supporters have not forgotten that.
