Many Newcastle United fans have flocked to a tweet from Nabil Bentaleb after he posted a compilation of his time at the Tyneside club so far.
The video, which was shared on his official Twitter page, had the caption ‘wait and see’, which sent some members of the Toon faithful into a frenzy. As suggested by the tweets below, some Magpies believe that this may be a subtle hint to the potential takeover at St. James’ Park.

It is all speculation at this point, as the post may just be an innocent insight into Bentaleb’s best moments at NUFC so far.
Indeed, the 25-year old moved to the North East on loan in the January transfer window, and has since made six appearances in all competitions so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.
These supporters suggest that the footage could be more than just a compilation of the Algerian international’s time at the club so far, with some asking if it is time to get the ‘cans’ out:
