Lots of Newcastle fans are fuming as Ian Herbert has shared news on his official Twitter page about the Premier League that will affect the Tyneside club when the season resumes.
As per the journalist, the police have identified six fixtures that will require neutral venues when the top flight restarts, including the Magpies’ away trip to face Manchester City as well as their home game against Liverpool.

Indeed, they will not have a home advantage at St. James’ Park against the current league leaders, who are likely to have been crowned champions of England’s highest division by that time based off of their league position at the moment.
The writer also claimed that as of yet, the Premier League’s 13 police force areas have named no fixtures of concern relating to sides threatened by relegation, but with NUFC eight points clear of the drop, hopefully this is something that supporters will not have to worry about.

These members of the Toon faithful were fuming on Twitter at supposedly being singled out for two of the matches, with one asking “is it because we have the best fans in the game?”
Indeed, the Magpies do have a loyal following and they were recently voted as having the best away support in the Premier League…
But the situation IS fluid. Relegation fixtures COULD be added if resumed season creates crunches matches in which large numbers gather..

Sorry but how would moving the #nufc home game stop liverpool fans turning up elsewhere in the country? if that’s what they are worried about? No sense.
