Some Newcastle United fans are fuming at transfer links with their former man Florian Thauvin after reports from Italy and France (via ChronicleLive) claim that the Tyneside club are looking to bring him back.
There is also reported interest in Milan as well as from AS Roma and Valencia as the French international boasts impressive stats in his native country. Thauvin has scored 78 goals and provided 51 assists in 237 appearances in all competitions for Olympique Marseille, mainly playing from the right-wing position, according to Transfermarkt.
Unfortunately, the £28.8 million-valued ace has been injured for the majority of this season and has thus has only managed a solitary two games, as per the website.
However, his stats during his time with the Magpies are far less impressive. He only managed one goal and two assists in just 16 matches in all competitions, as per Transfermarkt.
