Belgian outfit KV Kortrijk invited the Geordies to a game of the famous past time, however, they were met with swift rejection. The game seems to be the new trend among various clubs across Europe after leagues around the continent were postponed following recent events. Hull City took on Bayer Leverkusen in a tight contest and defeated the Bundesliga outfit after a lengthy encounter.

However, it’s not just Connect Four that has been the new trend amongst the admins of the Twitter accounts of professional clubs. It seems as though noughts and crosses is also a favourite with Southampton and Manchester City playing out a draw on Saturday.
