Loads of Newcastle United fans have reacted to a takeover claim from Warren Barton as he explains why Jamie Reuben’s relationship with former Magpies striker Les Ferdinand is a plus.
As per ChronicleLive, Barton insists that members of the Toon faithful can be confident that they will get a good addition to the board in Reuben because he works with Ferdinand.

As part of the Reuben family, the 32-year old is set to own 10 per cent of the Tyneside club if a takeover is complete.
He has been on the Queens Park Rangers board alongside Ferdinand since October 2018, as the latter is director of football at the London club.
Barton says that the DoF would not work with just anybody, speaking volumes about his relationship with Reuben. He added that Ferdinand would fit the bill to fulfil a role at NUFC as he understands the club.
