Newcastle United: Fans react to takeover revelation by Richard Keys

Lots of Newcastle United fans have been reacting to a revelation from former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys regarding the prospective takeover at St. James’ Park.

Writing on his blog, Keys asked the question as to what people in the footballing community were trying to achieve by getting the beautiful game to restart again when the global pandemic still looms large across the nation.

The 63-year old then talked about the potential deal that may go through in the North East, but seemed to reiterate his stance on not agreeing with it due to the ongoing piracy issues with the company he works for, beIN SPORTS, and Saudi Arabia.

“If it does, it will never again be able to mount a winnable case against Piracy,” Keys claims if the bid goes through.

However, it was his final say that attracted many members of the Toon faithful, as he expects that Saudi-led consortium to get the nod of approval this week.
