Plenty of Newcastle United fans have slammed Alfredo Morelos after former Colombian international Hugo Rodallega said that he would be ‘perfect’ for Steve Bruce.
Speaking to the Daily Record, the 34-year old urged his compatriot to take advantage of the situation that he is in, as Rodallega believes that Morelos is in a great position in his career.
He added that the 23-year old has ability and confidence to play in the English top flight, and must tell Rangers that he wants to move. Spain would be another option for Morelos according to Rodallega, who says that he needs to be move to a league that is more demanding.
The ex-Wigan Athletic forward claims that Steve Bruce is a coach who gives strikers a lot of confidence, implying that he should stay on if Morelos signs.
“That would be perfect for Alfredo,” claims Rodallega.
The Gers man has scored 12 goals in the Scottish Premiership this season, but a move to the Premier League would arguably be a much higher level.
