Newcastle United: Fans slam latest claim to oppose takeover from Hatice Cengiz

Many Newcastle United fans have slammed the latest claim to oppose the prospective takeover from Hatice Cengiz, the fiancé of the murdered Jamal Khassogi.

As shared by Mark Douglas on his official Twitter page, Cengiz has written another letter in the hope that the deal will be stopped because she wants justice for her late fiancé. Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), the Saudi Crown Prince aiming to buy the Tyneside club, has been accused by her of being involved in Khassogi’s death.

As per the letter, Cengiz questions members of the Toon faithful as to whether they want a possible murderer associated with NUFC, and claims that the rules of the Premier League would not allow this to happen.

She summarised by stating that the supporters can have a big say in the matter, and adds that the Saudis are only interested in their own needs rather than the clubs.

Despite this, these Magpies slammed the claim, with some questioning whether Cengiz actually wrote it:
