Many Newcastle United fans have been slamming a view on the prospective takeover in the North East from Richard Masters as Bryan Swanson shared a part of his interview with him on his official Twitter page.
When asked about the proposed deal between Mike Ashley and the Saudi-led consortium by Swanson on Sky Sports, the Premier League chief claimed that timing is not an issue and added that the top flight do not have any specific views about when things like takeovers need to be done by, giving little away.

Indeed, this was met with some negative reactions by several members of the Toon faithful, who seem to have grown increasingly frustrated not just that the bid has not yet been approved by England’s highest division, but the feeling that they are not being informed enough about what exactly is going on with their club.

Perhaps Masters has not helped himself here by giving little away about the whole situation, one that he should arguably be familiar with given that he is the league’s chief which has led to one fan suggesting he is “out of his depth” in his current role.
