According to an early morning report from the Chronicle’s Lee Ryder, the allegedly interested parties of Prince Mohammed bin Salman backed by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund are still yet to table a ‘concrete‘ bid – with many Magpies fans fuming they there hasn’t been any progress made.
Back in late January, the Guardian reported that a takeover deal was ‘90%‘ completed as Prince Salman, brokered by Amanda Staveley, launched a £340 million assault on Mike Ashley’s club asking price – with the report claiming a deal was imminent.
Fast forward, and the news coming out of the Chronicle is that there hasn’t been a ‘concrete‘ bid for Newcastle – let alone the deal being near completion. As a result, many Magpies supporters have fumed at the development – especially considering the fact there have been very few significant updates other than reality TV producer Carla DiBello’s alleged involvement back in ‘early 2019’ (The Wall Street Journal).

Hahahahah surely you guys really didn’t fall for this bid story. Regardless of where the story broke, ashley has no intention of selling. Why would he? Its his cash cow.
