Newcastle United: Magpies fans react to Daryl Murphy’s sensational finish vs Huddersfield

Lots of Newcastle United fans reacted to a tweet from the club’s official Twitter account showing footage of Daryl Murphy’s stunning finish against Huddersfield to continue the St Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Following a cross from Jonjo Shelvey into the box, Murphy took the ball away from the Terriers goalkeeper Danny Ward, and coolly slotted the ball past the helpless shot-stopper into the back of the net.

Rafa Benitez’s side went five points clear at the top of the Championship with the 3-1 win and gained promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.
