Newcastle United would like to sell Yoshinori Muto in the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.
As per the outlet, sources close to the striker have said that the Tyneside club have been trying to move him on and that his future appears to be away from the North East.

Indeed, Muto’s time at St. James’ Park was fairly limited in the 2019/20 season, as the £4.95 million-valued man managed to play in a mere 10 games in all competitions, scoring just a single goal, and none in the Premier League (via Transfermarkt).
In fact, the 28-year old has been limited to just 28 matches in all competitions over the last two terms, in which he has only managed to score twice (per the website).
Thus, it may be time for Muto to move onto a team in where he will play more regular first-team football as it looks like his future at the Magpies is very limited right at this moment in time.
The question would be who will take the Japanese international, who has previously been described as a ‘moody diva’ by Georg Holzner, the former Mainz correspondent for German magazine ‘Kicker’, with the respect to how about he goes his business.
Indeed, Muto impressed while at Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp’s former side, with 23 strikes and a further 11 assists in 72 appearances across all competitions over three consecutive seasons, as per Transfermarkt.

Nevertheless, it seems as if the striker has no future at the Toon, and so NUFC should look to get as big of a transfer fee as possible if they wish to sell him.
