It has been a testing start to the season for Aston Villa, and their supporters have often been drowning their sorrows in the Transfer Tavern as a result.
Manager Steve Bruce brought in experienced faces over the summer to try and improve upon their 13th place finish last time out, but it just hasn’t clicked for the Midlands giants as of yet with just seven points from their opening seven matches.
Defeats away at Cardiff City and Reading early in the season piled the pressure on the former Birmingham chief, yet a 4-2 victory over Hull City gave the 56-year-old some respite, and was perhaps an indication that they were about to embark upon a good run of form.
However, Villa could only muster a 0-0 draw at home to Middlesbrough on Tuesday night despite creating numerous opportunities on the night, this all after failing to break down winless Brentford on Saturday at Villa Park.
And three successive draws, including two 0-0 draws at home, has seen several Villa fans take to Twitter to express their views on their side.
And it’s fair to say that they want the club to make a change sooner rather than later…

It’s not just the start of this season, it’s last season as well, nothing has changed and nothing will with Bruce in charge #avfc

How can people honestly Justify Bruce still being the right man for the job, 18 wins in 49, we’re not fickle, we’re honest #AVFC
