Nottingham Forest are still interested in signing Aston Villa striker Keinan Davis, according to a report from The Telegraph.

Signed on loan in January, the 24-year-old directly contributed to eight goals in 22 outings for the Reds during a successful spell at the City Ground.
The former England youth international was instrumental in Steve Cooper's side as Forest earned promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs, featuring in both semi-final ties and the Wembley showpiece.

As per The Telegraph, Nottingham Forest are believed to have held 'cordial discussions' regarding the former England under-20 starlet.
It's claimed that, although an agreement is not 'imminent', there remains hope that Davis will make a permanent switch to the City Ground during the ongoing transfer window.
A £15m price tag has previously been mooted for the man branded an 'absolute monster' in February by journalist George Smith during a 7.4-rated display against Blackburn Rovers consisting of one assist, three successful dribbles and four successful aerial duels (via Sofascore).

With the long-term future of Lewis Grabban in the air after the club captain rejected a new deal at the City Ground, Cooper currently has Sam Surridge, Lyle Taylor, Nuno Da Costa and club-record signing Taiwo Awonyi in the ranks as potential centre-forward options.
None of the aforementioned candidates to lead the line boast a wealth of Premier League experience, with Surridge's lowly six outings and Grabban's fleeting 24 appearances in the top flight the only current ventures into the English elite level at present among that quartet.
Therefore, Davis - who has 34 Premier League matches under his belt - would certainly be an adequate understudy and potential support act alongside Awoniyi, given his ability to play as a focal point and his range of impressive attributes.
Despite the seemingly lofty asking price for a striker valued at just £2.25m by Transfermarkt, the Forest hierarchy should have the funds available to complete this deal and the reported swoop for Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O'Brien without stretching the coffers too much.
