Oddly enough, Victor Moses would now really fit in at Liverpool

A late goal from Alexandre Lacazette denied Liverpool all three points against in-form Arsenal at the Emirates.

In a hotly contested affair, both sides failed to break the deadlock before half-time with Sadio Mane’s goal being wrongly ruled offside. James Milner gave the visitors the lead after the break but a smart finish from Lacazette with just eight minutes remaining ensured Unai Emery’s men left with a point. With both sides spurning chances, a draw was arguably the fairest result.

Jurgen Klopp will be disappointed not to leave North London with all three points but will be buoyed that his side remain undefeated in the Premier League. A potential cause for concern could be right-back with Trent Alexander-Arnold struggling to deal with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The youngster has endured a difficult campaign so far and with Nathaniel Clyne providing little competition – reinforcements could be needed.

One man Klopp could target is Chelsea outcast – Victor Moses. Valued at £18m by Transfermarkt, the Nigerian is no stranger to Merseyside having spent a season on loan at the club during the Brendan Rodgers era. Since leaving the club, Moses reinvented himself as a wing-back under Antonio Conte and helped the Blues win the Premier League title during the Italian’s debut season. With his role reduced under Maurizio Sarri, Moses is widely expected to leave in January.

The 27-year-old has developed into a much more well-rounded player since his first spell at Anfield and could add real depth to Liverpool’s right side. Comfortable on the wing or at right-back, Moses could prove to be a very important rotation option. Approaching the prime of his career, bringing him back to Merseyside could prove to be an astute piece of business.

Potentially available at a great price, this is a move that Klopp should seriously consider.

Liverpool fans, thoughts?
