Though life being a Manchester United supporter is rapidly improving for the punters in the Transfer Tavern, one of the most frustrating things for those propping up the bar has been Luke Shaw’s ongoing situation at Old Trafford.
Seemingly unable to force his way into proceedings under Jose Mourinho, the England international has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur as a result of his relatively bit-part role under the Portuguese.
However, the fact the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ has included the 21-year-old in his squad for tomorrow’s game at home to Bournemouth has sparked support for the former Southampton ace on Twitter. Clearly a talented player, Shaw seemingly retains a huge amount of support amongst fans, who hope he can make an impression tomorrow against the Cherries.
“Luke Shaw is selected for tomorrow, so you won’t need to have the guys at the Lowry taking pictures of the players, to see which ones are on the list”, said Mourinho on the matter.
Looking to fully recapture the sort of form he showed on the south coast, it could be a turning point for him.
