Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for the new season as their club aims to get back into the Premier League.
Things have certainly been interesting in the Championship this year for Villa but there is a real sense now that the club is going to stabilise and push on next season.
Indeed, the likes of Steve Bruce and Dr. Tony Xia have certainly ensured that there is a sense of optimism around Villa Park at the moment and so now it remains to be seen if that can be converted into promotion for 2017/18.
In the meantime, though, it’s all about keeping the positivity up and the club has certainly made a good move to try and do that with them offering fans with a season ticket a free drink at the last home game of the season.
Villa host Brighton on the final day and after this latest announcement on Twitter, fans are certainly chatting.
