Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are really looking forward to seeing their side continue their promotion challenge this weekend.
Things did not get off to the best start in the league last weekend with a home draw to Hull City but there were plenty of positives and so the club had need not worry about their chances just yet.
Indeed, the side also ran out winners last night against Colchester United in the League Cup and that game showcased the good young players that are at the club at the moment.
Indeed, that factor certainly wasn’t lost on Dr. Tony Xia who tweeted:
