The Spurs fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hopeful that their team can finish off the season on a high, after some good form has propelled them into contention for a second successive top four finish.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men have been one of the standout stories of the 2016/17 campaign and the ardent Spurs fans here in the Tavern are mightily excited for what the rest of the season could hold in store.

The current squad at Spurs is by no means the finished article but they do possess one of the brightest young squads in world football, with the consensus here in the Tavern that they will only get better in years to come.

Spurs will look ahead to the summer where they will no doubt look to strengthen the squad once more in a quest to genuinely challenge for the Premier League title and exciting times look to be on the horizon.

In – Ben Gibson

The Middlesbrough man is bound to be a wanted man during the summer and Spurs would be wise to try and secure the services of the central defender.

One Spurs fan is chilling in the lounge area of the Tavern with a cold pint of lager and he thinks that Gibson would be a quality signing for the club, stating that young, English talent is something which the club should continue to sign.

Out – Vincent Janssen

The Dutchman has been a massive flop since his summer arrival at White Hart Lane and he could return to his native Holland during the forthcoming transfer window.

Spurs will surely look to sign another striker as backup to Harry Kane and that could spell the end of Janssen’s short time at the North London-based club, much to the delight of the critical Spurs supporters in the Tavern.
