Our Crystal Palace fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to seeing Sam Allardyce shape their squad this January and, according to TalkSport, Louis Moult could be a part of that.
The Eagles have had a poor season so far and sacked Alan Pardew, of course, last month in a bid to halt their terrible slide towards relegation.
Things are taking their time to turn around under Allardyce, though, and so signing new players seems vital to their survival chances this season.
It appears, then, that Motherwell striker Moult could be the answer with him bang in form across the border.
From 18 appearances he has an impressive eleven goals and a return like that for the rest of this season in the Premier League would certainly see Palace look good for staying up.
It’s not as simple as that, of course, but with Christian Benteke the only reliable enough source of goals the Eagles have, the dice certainly need to be thrown.
Our landlord agrees, and thinks Moult could be one of those signings that proves to be inspired.
