The Manchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern are revelling in their side’s early season form under Pep Guardiola.
The North West outfit have taken the lion’s share of the plaudits from pundits and fans alike this season, and it seems as though they will take some stopping at the summit of the Premier League table. The Citizens have recorded ten wins from their opening 11 encounters this season, and they will be hoping to make it 11 wins from 12 when they travel to the King Power Stadium this weekend. City will be wary of the danger of the Foxes after they suffered a 4-2 defeat on the same ground last season.
City’s electrifying form in October has not gone unnoticed by the Premier League, who announced Guardiola as Manager of the Month and Leroy Sane as Player of the Month earlier today.
And City’s official Twitter page wasted no time in feeding the news to their followers around the world.

The awards came as little surprise considering City collected a maximum nine points from their three League matches in October, scoring 13 goals in the process.
The Citizens will be sincerely hoping that the individual awards will translate to silverware for the whole club to celebrate come the end of the season.
