Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern are confident that their side is going to be back in the Premier League come the end of the season with them well in the Championship top two at the moment.
The Magpies are flying at the moment alongside Brighton in those automatic spots in the Championship and it really does look as though the pair will be coming up.
The only thing that isn’t seemingly certain is in what order they will get promoted but one thing is for sure – they need to sign players in the summer.
Newcastle, though, look unlikely to get Michael Carrick in from Manchester United with the midfielder saying to Match of the Day magazine – via Chronicle Live – that that ship looks to have sailed.
