It was a tough afternoon for Manchester City at Wembley today as they ran out 2-1 losers to Arsenal in the second FA Cup semi-final of the weekend.
Citizens fans here in the Transfer Tavern weren’t at all impressed with the loss to the Gunners, who have had a poor season all-round.
But the tightly-contested affair was finally decided in extra-time when Alexis Sanchez slotted home from close range, cuing some pretty rowdy scenes from the Arsenal end of the pub at the time!
But following the game, there was one City player who was singled out online for a bit of criticism from the Citizens faithful, and that’s Leroy Sane.
The young winger struggled to really make an impact on the game and was marshalled well by the Arsenal back-three throughout.
