Tottenham have concluded their pre-season tour of America this summer and after playing three friendly fixtures, the fans got a good glimpse at some of the youngsters they wouldn’t have otherwise seen. TJ Eyoma, Oliver Skipp and George Marsh all impressed and they’ve been reflecting on their public senior starts on the Tottenham website.
How impressed were you with these three during #SpursInUSA?

The trio all started together in the 1-0 victory over AC Milan in Minnesota and they’ve impressed plenty of fans. A lot of supporters wouldn’t have heard of the three young Lillywhites before this summer, however, a lot of the fans are now calling for some of them to be used in the Premier League season, seeing as the club’s lack of transfer activity and senior players is looking like causing problems come next Saturday.
Tottenham face one more game before the start of the season against Newcastle next Saturday, when they face Girona later today at the Municipal de Montilivi. Most fans won’t be bothered about the result as long as Mauricio Pochettino is happy with the performance and is happy with his preparations for the new season. If Tottenham can get some signings over the line, play with the right intensity against Girona and blood the youth come the Newcastle game, then the fans will all be pretty pleased.
You can read the Lillywhites’ verdict on their trio of young starlets here:
Everyone shouting "new signings" at this post when these three could practically be brand new additions to our squad next season.

If they read this comment, I’d like to say:
Ignore the talk about signings. We’re all proud of your performances during preseason and as supporters we feel proud to see you 3 wear our colours. Keep working hard and we’re looking forward to seeing you all in the first team. #COYS

Jeeesh – some of the comments on here. Imagine how it feels as a youngster at Spurs when the fans dismiss their progress and their achievements so quickly because they want signings. Two separate topics and, incidentally, it’s not very #OneOfOurOwn, is it?

Skipp looks like a great prospect. Hopefully he’ll get some game time this season.

These lads did well. The 1 positive of not having senior players back, or new signings, was they got a chance to show what they can do #COYS

Give Skipp more game time please

Whilst a lot of Tottenham fans will be demanding new signings, a lot of fans are desperate to see some of their youngsters given a chance in the first team this season.
