Aston Villa's match against Crystal Palace will be remembered by many for the contentious decision that resulted in Henri Lansbury's late equaliser being disallowed.

However, goalkeeper Tom Heaton will remember the 1-0 loss as the game in which he made the 100th Premier League appearance of his career.

Once the dust had settled following the result, Villa's official Twitter account put out a tweet to congratulate him:

In those 100 games, Heaton has made a total of 25 clean sheets, winning 29 games, as per the official Premier League website.

He has also managed a total of 350 saves, 36 punches, 88 high claims, 67 catches and 47 sweeper clearances.

The England international has made four Premier League appearances for Villa so far, keeping one clean sheet, having made 10 saves.
