Chelsea will be looking to add new players to their squad in the coming days as new manager Maurizio Sarri looks to shape his new team following their Charity Shield defeat to Man City.

The Blues have had a poor window by their own high standards, with only midfielder Jorginho arriving for any sort of big sum we are used to seeing from the Londoners, and Sarri will be hoping to open to chequebook in the coming days.

We at the Transfer Tavern think that there are players out there to be bought, and we think we've identified a couple of players who could make a big impact at the Bridge.

One player we have picked out is German forward Thomas Muller, who has long been rumoured for a move to England following his excellent form with Bayern Munich.

The £49.5m-rated World Cup winner is a class act, and always seems to show up on the biggest stage, something Chelsea are crying out for to supplement their already talented squad.

Muller though is a guarantee of goals and workrate, and his ability to play across all the attacking positions make him a brilliant addition to any team across Europe.

At 28, he could well be entering his prime, and having achieved everything he could want to over in Munich, a move to England and the chance to live in London and attempt to win the Premier League could well be tempting for the German.

Chelsea fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
