Everton fans have issued their support for left-back Leighton Baines and said that he should feature in the Premier League’s team of the decade.
The Kirkby-born defender has been at the club since 2007 after his £6m move from Wigan Athletic and went on to establish himself as a fan-favourite as a Toffees’ legend.
Baines has not played regularly since the squad since the 2017/18 campaign where he scored twice and provided three assists in 22 Premier League games. He only played six times in the Premier League last season and is yet to make an outing this year.

Every day of the week. If he played for Arsenal and Chelsea he would have got the praise Cole does.

The left backs which I do rate haven’t played in the premier league for the full decade (Patrice Evra, Ashley Cole etc.), so, this would give Baines a good shot of making it in my opinion.
