After securing their first away win of the season, slightly lifting the pressure off Marco Silva's shoulders, supporters were quick to highlight one player's performance.

Morgan Schneiderlin, who has long been an unlikeable character in the eyes of some Evertonians, started alongside Tom Davies in the heart of the Toffees midfield against his former club during their 2-1 win over Southampton at St. Mary's.

His defensive midfield partner grabbed the opener with a bullet header inside the first five minutes, before ex-Liverpool striker Danny Ings equalised for the home side shortly after half time.

From then on, the result was up in the air, with Southampton pushing for a winner only to be caught on the counter-attack - with Djibril Sidibe setting up Richarlison for a dramatic winning goal 15 minutes from full time.

Despite a much-needed victory, some supporters were quick to jump on Schneiderlin's sub-par performance after he appeared to be at fault for the Saints' equaliser, hinting that the Frenchman is a liability.

Here's what they had to say regarding the former Man United midfielder.
