Liverpool have looked completely dominant this season as they continue to hunt down an elusive Premier League title.
The Reds extended their unbeaten streak yesterday as they secured all three points against Southampton by producing an incredible performance. Although, it looks as if two of their players are attracting permanent interest, as according to The Scotsman, Steven Gerrard wants to sign Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria on permanent deals.
Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria are currently out on loan at Rangers after joining during the summer.
The Ibrox manager is confident he can come to an arrangement with Jurgen Klopp, his opposite number at Anfield.
Both players have never really managed to break into the first team at Anfield and will no doubt play no further part in the future of the club.
“I’m still in Jurgen’s good books for the foreseeable future and Liverpool keep winning, so maybe there is some scope, but we rate them very highly,”
Liverpool won’t be too bothered that the young duo are wanted permanently by Steven Gerrard as they’re surplus to requirements at Anfield.
Indeed, Jurgen Klopp’s close ties with Steven Gerrard will surely help him come to some sort of agreement as it’s clear to see that they’re both excelling at Ibrox.
And, it’s good to see that they’ve both been pulling their weight in the Europa League.
