Tottenham fans on Twitter want to see Poch take Carabao Cup seriously

Tottenham travel the 50-mile trip to Stadium MK tonight to host Watford in the Carabao Cup third round. Oddly enough, Tottenham’s ‘home’ stadium in Milton Keynes tonight is actually closer to Vicarage Road than it is to White Hart Lane, but that won’t give The Hornet’s the edge over Tottenham later.

The Lilywhites are desperate to win their first piece of silverware under Mauricio Pochettino and believe that even the lowly league cup will do. The fans are desperate to win something and with it being Mauricio Pochettino’s fifth year in North London, it’s high time the Argentine had a trophy for his troubles. Poch will be expected to ring the changes tonight but that shouldn’t mean his side can’t win.

Paulo Gazzaniga is expected to start as both Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm are out but after that it’s unknown who will be trusted to start. Dele Alli will be hoping he can make a return to first-team action following his injury, especially seeing as Stadium MK used to be his home when he was at MK Dons. Whatever team Tottenham put out, they should have too much for Watford tonight and whilst they want to progress to the fourth round, they’ll also have one eye on getting revenge on Watford for inflicting Spurs with their first defeat of the season.
