The Newcastle fans in the Transfer Tavern have been making a stand against their club’s season tickets. Fans can purchase their season tickets on the Newcastle website, but not much of that has been happening as fans are demanding some signings before they pay their money.
Season ticket holders now have until Tuesday 3rd July to guarantee their existing seat for the 2018/19 @premierleague season.

It’s no secret that at St James Park the fans aren’t exactly happy at the moment. The club has been very quiet on the transfer from despite getting the early business completed of signing Martin Dubravka, who spent the second-half of last season on-loan with the Magpies. Now though, with the fans demanding more signings, the club has set a date for the 3rd July for season ticket renewals and the fans aren’t best pleased.
A number of players have been linked with a move to the club this summer. Stefano Sturaro, Kenedy and Clement Grenier are just a few that have been talked about with a move to St James Park, however, nothing looks close to being completed and the club looks more likely to lose Rafa Benitez to Mike Ashley’s incompetence than anything else. It could be a very long summer for the Geordies and they’ll be hoping that something goes their way sooner of later.

Ashley should be told he has till 3rd July to guarantee Raffa a decent transfer budget or he can go shove his season tickets. #NUFC

Any signings to excite people?

The club has to understand that the fans who have not renewed already wont do so until they see some incomings. All they have seen so far is a repeat of the last 3 windows. #nufc

You’ve got until then to secure Rafa and signings

As you can see, the Magpies in the Tavern have had enough of Mike Ashley and won’t be buying tickets until there’s a change at the club.
