Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are excited about how their side is going to perform in the Premier League.
The men from St. James’ Park are back in the big-time after a season away and it is Rafa Benitez who is tasked with getting the side into a place where they are not threatened by relegation.
New signings, then, are expected to be signed as soon as possible but it has been a rather slow start to proceedings this summer for the club.
Even so, there is time to rectify that and, according to Lee Ryder on Twitter Jacob Murphy has told his agent that he wants to move to the club:

An exciting young attacker, Murphy could be a real star for the Magpies and now we’ll have to see how things pan out.
