According to The Sun Stoke City are ready to do battle with newly promoted Qpr to land want away West Ham front man Carlton Cole.
Potters boss Pulis is set to return with a £6m bid, doubling his original offer that has recently been snubbed by the relegated Londoners.
The Hammers, who are demanding the £6m asking price to relieve Cole of his duties will sit back and watch as the bidding war continues for their sought after hit man.
The Injury prone striker has two years remaining on his current contract but it is likely his five year stint at Upton Park will come to an end this summer.
