As per The Daily Record, Glasgow Rangers will reject any bid for Ryan Kent, with the 23-year-old keen to stay at Ibrox.
It had been reported by Alan Nixon of The Scottish Sun that Leeds United had made a £10m bid for the winger.
However, it seems that the Gers are in no mood to see one of their bigger names leave this summer, and they are set to reject every bid that comes in. Not only that, Kent apparently wants to stay north of the border.
This is a strong stance from Ross Wilson and co, and you feel it is one they have to make. Alfredo Morelos is already being heavily linked with a departure from the 54-time Scottish champions – he has reportedly agreed personal terms with Lille and has even said himself that he is open to a move – which means that that Kent is now even more important to the side.
Would you be happy to see Ryan Kent leave Rangers?
With two goals in his first four Premiership matches of the campaign, the £3.15m-valued winger – as per Transfermarkt – has made a positive start to the new season, which is exactly what Steven Gerrard will want to see. This is a big term for all involved at Ibrox, and the boss will need all of his best players on top form to achieve his goal of winning a first major since joining the club in 2018.
As such, Kent is worth far more than £10m to the Gers.
