Glasgow Rangers youth player Dapo Mebude has taken to Twitter to call out Gers fans racially abusing his family after a game of FIFA.

The 19-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance for the Ibrox outfit, but he has impressed at youth level for both club and country. In five UEFA Youth League games during the 2019/20 campaign, he scored one goal and provided two assists, whilst he has four goals in 11 games for Scotland’s U19s.
It appears he has a bright future, but unfortunately he has had to deal with some disgusting comments from apparent Rangers fans over nothing other than a video game. Nobody should have to deal with that, especially not a young lad trying to make his way in the game.

As one could imagine, the vast majority of Gers supporters are enraged by this news, and they have taken to the social media platform to show support for Mebude.
Let’s see what the fans had to say to Mebude below
Utter disgrace. Sorry to hear this 🤬

Joke you have to experience that especially from those of us supposed to support you, it is embarrassing and ashaming.

Absolute disgrace. I’m sorry to hear that Dapo, they don’t deserve Rangers in their lives.

I sincerely hope whoever this is can be tracked down and made accountable for their disgusting behaviour. What the hell motivates filth like this? Stay strong fella. You certainly can rely on the wider Rangers family to rally behind you. 💙
