Galatasaray v Arsenal - UEFA Champions League Group Stage Matchday Six Group DRangers and Arsenal fans at the Transfer Tavern have united this evening to discuss one of the latest rumours concerning their clubs, which they are both delighted with.

Metro state the Gunners will make a decision on Gedion Zelalem in November to decide whether to extend the 18-year-old’s loan spell in Scotland, where he has extremely impressed our punters from north of the border.

Furthermore Liam Brady, former academy director for the Gunners, told The Glasgow Evening Times that there’s a high chance Zelalem will remain in Scotland until the end of the season.

‘I think if Gedion is happy to stay then we would look favourably on that. But it will be entirely up to Arsene Wenger at the end of the day.’

‘I think by the end of November we will have a meeting about all our loan players and see how they are doing. We have to evaluate the next transfer window. Gedion will be one of those we discuss. A lot depends on how Gedion himself feels.’

Arsenal fans in the bar are keen to see Zelalem continue to earn first-team football ahead of a successful stint in the Gunners squad, where they tip him as a future superstar, whilst Rangers fans desperately want him until the end of their current campaign.

Would Zelalem benefit from returning to Arsenal in January? Let us know in the comments below!
