Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be excited about the upcoming Championship campaign, but they will want to see at least a couple of players arrive.
Marcelo Bielsa has been busy in the transfer market in regards to trimming down his squad, however, some of the locals will be concerned with who he brings in to Elland Road in the near future.
He has already signed Lewis Baker on a loan deal but their need for a goalkeeper and striker is what is crucial for the Whites to be able to succeed. Should they manage to get those two positions filled, it would appear that there is not much more transfer activity to be had, with the Yorkshire Evening Post dropping a hint about the future.
The Japan international appears to have impressed the new manager following his loan spell with Cultural Leonesa and has earned a place with the main group of players, whilst the other three will join up from the academy ranks.
Landlord’s Verdict
The Leeds fans in the Tavern will be keen to see how the four players will react to being promoted to the main group and will hope they justify their places in the squad.
The locals will be particularly excited with Ideguchi’s involvement as despite his age, he would be able to add some international experience to the side that could be vital to the Whites being in contention for a Premier League spot next season.
