Leeds United fans here in the Tavern are feeling extremely confident about the next campaign after welcoming Marcelo Bielsa to the club recently.
The Whites will be one of the favourites for promotion next season having appointed Marcelo Bielsa as their new manager. And, it looks as if they’re making all the right moves on the transfer front, as according to the Daily Mail’s live transfer blog (16/06; 13:09), Leeds are closing in on a deal to sign Joshveer Shergill.
Interestingly, the Yorkshire club are closing in on a deal to sign left-back Joshveer Shergill from Walsall in what would be the first signing the club has made since Marcelo Bielsa was appointed at Elland Road.
Indeed, it’s understood that the Whites will pay £25,000 and include a sell-on clause in the deal for the teenager who only left West Brom earlier this year.

So, it looks as if Leeds United will be welcoming the youngster to the club in the near future as they close in on a deal. And, many of our local residents are delighted with the news as the 16-year-old could develop into a future star at Elland Road.
