Celtic are finally hitting the heights they did last season as their place at the top of the Scottish Premiership is coming more in reach by the game.
With some dominant displays in recent matches, Brendan Rodgers can be happy that his side are getting back to their best.
The Hoops have the eyes firmly on the prize this season once again, as well as carrying the hope that they endure European success as well.
To do that, they need more squad depth and especially in attack. With all the games Celtic will soon play in, a player of Bournemouth’s Lys Mousset’s quality is exactly what Brendan Rodgers and his team needs.
Mousset, who is valued at £3.6 million on Transfermarkt, is a player that delivers upon opportunity but yet doesn’t get them enough.
Granted Bournemouth have made an impressive start to their Premier League campaign, hence the lack of change up-front but Lys Mousset is an active forward that not only scores goals but has the pace to create them too.
With Leigh Griffiths only having one goal in the Premiership this season, as well as currently being injured, Lys Mousset would surely make the perfect back-up to Odsonne Edouard.
Mousset is also a French striker, something Celtic have had a lot of success with in recent years and that is another reason as to why they could turn to the 22-year-old.
Bournemouth have an array of attacking talent as well as Lys Mousset, which could pave way for an exit to Celtic Park.
Celtic have a chance at European qualification and domestic success this season, it would be made a lot easier with another top forward in their ranks.
