Celtic have been rampant in recent weeks and with no sign of letting up, the Hoops look to be steaming towards top spot in the Scottish Premiership.
Brendan Rodgers isn’t experienced in not succeeding with Celtic and thanks to their revival, it seems he won’t have to this season either.
The Hoops are dominant domestically and with some smart business in the upcoming transfer windows, there is no reason as to why they can’t strengthen even more.
They would like to strengthen in the forward department and with the ability to play on either wing or as a main striker, Celtic should really look into signing Leicester’s Fousseni Diabate.
Diabate, who is valued at £2.7 million on Transfermarkt, is a youngster that really does have tremendous quality even if Leicester haven’t yet showcased that.
The 23-year-old is yet to appear in the Premier League this season and only has 13 minutes to his name worth of first-team action, when he appeared late on in the EFL Cup.
Mali international Diabate is an exciting player and could be a worthwhile addition at Celtic Park. Alongside the likes of Scott Sinclair and forwards like Odsonne Edouard, Diabate would certainly be solid depth for Celtic and could quickly introduce himself in the starting line-up.
Leicester spent a lot of money over the summer meaning that a chance in the first-team is now even less likely for Fousseni Diabate.
Meanwhile, Celtic are in need of more quality up-front and Diabate could feel wanted by a top club. There is no doubt that given the chance, Diabate could be an important player for Celtic, so surely it’s a risk worth taking.
