Celtic are embarking on another domestic haul, where they aim to sweep aside any potential challengers who may come their way.
They have dominated Scottish football for years and Brendan Rodgers and his team won’t want to give up that achievement this season either.
Again this season looks to be another walkover but its European progression they really want to make this time around. With their Europa League campaign shortly getting underway, the Hoops should turn to Jese Rodriguez, a player in need of a reviving career move.
Jese, (who is valued at £6.7 million on Transfermarkt) is a player that has struggled to live up to the tremendous hype placed on him during his youth days with Real Madrid.
After playing well in Spain but not setting the world alight, the Spaniard got a desirable move to French giants PSG, where the best of his ability was supposed to be showcased. Yet again though it turned out to be a failed move and he then tried to revive his career in England with Stoke City but his problematic loan spell now leaves him with few options and clubs to turn to.
With a blank slate though, a move to Celtic is one that could work out brilliantly for all involved. The Spaniard is still just 25-years-old and with the confidence to go out and express himself under Brendan Rodgers, Jese could supply the goods for Celtic.
His debut in England saw his goal be the winner against Arsenal and he was set to be a hero but now with his confidence at an all-time low, Celtic could be the perfect place that would welcome attacking talent and help Jese get back onto the path to stardom.
Alongside another former PSG ace in Odsonne Edouard, Jese could thrive in Glasgow.
