Celtic have quickly amended their poor early form to boost themselves up into 2nd place.
Brendan Rodgers would have been fearing for his job considering that Celtic not only lost two league games but also didn’t make the Champions League group stages.
Nevertheless, that early blip has been revived with a string of impressive performances, the Celtic everybody is familiar with.
Still, three points off league leaders Hearts, Celtic need to find an extra goalscorer in January and who better than Fulham outcast Aboubakar Kamara.
Kamara, (who is valued at £3.6 million on Transfermarkt) is a forward that could make a real difference at Celtic Park with the right opportunity that Brendan Rodgers should provide.
The 23-year-old arrived at Craven Cottage last summer and quickly made a statement when scoring seven league goals, despite only starting eight games that season.
His role at Fulham hasn’t changed this season either as Kamara is made to make do with occasional league appearances and cup ties.
With two goals in two cup games. Kamara has continued to impress when given the chance but when a striker in the form of Aleksandar Mitrovic stands ahead of you in the pecking order, it will be hard for Kamara to ever start ahead of the Serbian.
There is all no guarantee that he would start at Celtic but moving to Celtic Park would give him the opportunity to feature more often.
Offering something completely different to Griffiths and Edouard, Kamara could bring the goals when the squad is rotated in league games and the Europa League.
The French forward is a goalscorer and Celtic would be sensible to acquire a player who has a point to prove.
