Celtic know that signing players during the January transfer window is essential if they’re to succeed in the Scottish Premiership this season.
To date, they’re on course to have another successful season, something Brendan Rodgers has become accustomed to since moving up to Scotland.
This season, though, has already been more challenging to those prior, with Celtic having to deal with a number of injuries and a more turbulent run of form.
As they’re top of the league at Christmas, it is their duty to make sure they stay there for the remainder of the campaign.
To receive yet another trophy, Celtic could improve their team during the January transfer window by signing someone like Stoke City’s Bojan.
Bojan, (who is valued at £1.3 million on Transfermarkt) is a nimble, versatile forward that could be a great option for Celtic to have in their squad.
Whilst goals have continued to fly in this season, Celtic are aware of that fact that their front-line is depleted with just Odsonne Edouard able to say he is an out and out striker.
Meanwhile, Bojan has started just three games in the Championship this season, a sign of a player no longer wanted by his club.
In truth, the 28-year-old has struggled for the past few seasons, not being able to gain a run in a team, wherever he has found himself.
Celtic could be another club on the long list for the Spaniard but this time, it could be a move that works out well for both parties.
Bojan wants to play regularly and would get that under Brendan Rodgers as he aims to use rotation in order to freshen up his Celtic squad.
Would Bojan be a good signing… Let us know!
