Celtic will expect nothing less than another treble in the current campaign, having already secured silverware in the form of the Scottish League Cup.
The Hoops splashed the cash on Odsonne Edouard back in the summer transfer window, which has worked out really well for them so far this season.
So, with the January transfer window almost here, Peter Lawwell may look to empty his pockets once again, with Rangers and Kilmarnock still in the race for the Scottish Premiership title. And, with Dedryck Boyata being linked with a move away from Scotland, Lawwell might need to dip into the market for a couple of replacements.
With that in mind, Brendan Rodgers should beg Lawwell to sign these TWO quality Boyata replacements in January…
Scott McKenna has been sensational once again in the current campaign, having impressed domestically with Aberdeen and on the international stage with Scotland.
However, the defender has been linked with a number of English clubs in the past, so the Hoops may find it difficult to secure his services in January.
But, if they do manage to bring him to Celtic Park then he could easily fill the possible void left by Boyata, with age on his side and plenty of potential still yet to be unlocked.
The Millwall man has proved to be particularly adept on the ball, and frankly destructive in the air. And, he has even been able to provide valuable contributions in the final third this season, having produced one goal and six assists to his name at this moment in time.
Indeed, the 23-year-old still has his best years ahead of him, despite establishing himself as one of the most promising defenders in the English Championship, so he could play a big part at Celtic Park.
